Specialization course in Management of Family Health Care
Presentation
This course is a result of the Cooperation Agreement between UFMG/NESCON and UFTM, supported by the Ministry of Health - Open University of SUS (UNA-SUS) and by the Ministry of Education - Open University of Brazil (UAB).
It is intended for medical professionals who participate in the public policy for professional insertion in priority areas of SUS (Unified Health System in Brazil). Such public policy was established by Interministerial Ordinance nº 2.087/Ministry of Health/Ministry of Education and by Interministerial Ordinance nº 3031/Ministry of Health/Ministry of Education, dated September 1st, 2011 and December 26th, 2012 respectively, and by Law nº 1.2871 dated October 22nd, 2013.
Objective
To train professionals for working in the Family Health Strategy, who are skilled to positively intervene in the living conditions of the population in areas covered by the teams.

This course is a result of the Cooperation Agreement between the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, through the Education Center for Collective Health (NESCON in portuguese), and the Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro

Complete Higher education or undergraduate degree in any specific area. Medicine Degree.

Type of Admission: Candidates must be included in the list of the Physician´s Provision Program sent to the Coordination of the Course (UFMG) by the Ministry of Health. Documents delivered to UFMG will be forwarded to UFTM and only candidates whose documentation is complete and legible will be considered formal candidates.
