The Engineering Course Chemistry aims to train a generalist professional with solid theoretical and practical knowledge, able to design, implement and analyze technical and scientific projects and keep pace with technological developments in engineering as well as develop research using new technologies. The course also encourages the need for continuing education of the engineering student, and its cultural improvement and development of the scientific spirit and reflective thought.

Labor market

With operations in various fields within the industry, the chemical engineer has its presence expanded in the Brazilian and international markets. This participation is through physical or chemical transformations, processes, continuous modernization and expansion of existing industrial centers. In addition, the following are also attributes of a chemical engineer: working with research and development for creation/development of new processes and/or products, replacing products, new applications for existing products or recovery/treatment and/or recovery of waste considered useless or toxic.
